“I Will Go” - Starfield
It’s been a long while since I’ve truly walked with the Lord.
I’ve been distracted. It’s so easy to get off track sometimes. You get confused and misled; you simply forget what’s truly important and start having skewed priorities. I want God to be my number one again, and I’m going to strive towards that goal. I love you, God. You are my Lord and savior. I want to be a disciple once again and not just a believer. I want to be more for you.
God, please help me forgive her.
I’m so tired of being hurt. I’m so tired of feeling these negative feelings. I simply want to be happy again. I don’t actually hold anything against her, so why do I still have all this pain in my heart? Please, Lord, help me forgive her. It’s what I want most.
God doesn’t want religious duty. He doesn’t want a distracted, half-hearted “Fine, I’ll read a chapter…now are You happy?” attitude. God wants His word to be a delight to us, so much so that we meditate on it day and night.
